Welcome to the Dragon Martial Arts Association!

The Dragon Martial Arts Association provides authentic and traditional Chinese martial arts instruction and information. We offer classes in a range of kung fu styles for students of all ages and abilities.

Kung fu styles taught at the DMAA currently include:

Southern Dragon style kung fu – a powerful, dynamic and highly effective style of traditional kung fu that is based on the movements, essence and nature of the celestial Chinese dragon.

Yang Style Tai Chi – Tai Chi is an internal form of Chinese kung fu that is practiced with slow, graceful movements as an effective form of self defence and a unique exercise for physical and mental health.

Water Boxing (liu he ba fa) – Water Boxing (Six Harmonies Eight Methods) is seen as one of the most sophisticated forms of internal Chinese kung fu and for a long time was taught only inside closely guarded circles.

Street self defence – With street crime on the rise, it is essential for adults and children of all ages to be able to spot a dangerous situation and avoid it completely, or to have a few tricks up their sleeve if needed.
